Situated on the main highway 15 minutes from Taumaranui heading South and 15 mins from National Park. The Lodge is a 1920s Post Office which has been converted to a holiday home for those who wish to ski on Ruapehu, mountain bike the 42nd traverse, hunt, fish, tramp, quad bike etc. Ski hire is available from shop opposite and also transport for 42nd traverse if required. Our Local is the Owhango Hotel 5 minutes walk, Pete and Sue are the Proprietors. Bar and cafe available.
