Lake activities could include boating, fishing, kayaking (kayak available at the house) and swimming during summer. Snow skiing at Whakapapa in winter is only 40 minutes drive away. The famous Tongariro crossing - a must do one day tramp - is a 30 minute drive from the bach.
Bush walks, native bird watching and fly fishing possies in the local area. A peaceful and relaxing place to holiday.
