Chester St Cottage is a very warm sunny home, ideally located close to the Christchurch central city. The house was re-carpeted April 2006 with Manhattan Court pure wool carpet (Coffee Bean) and repainted in contemporary colours. A new kitchen with Baumatic dishwasher, under-bench oven and hob was installed June 2005. A phone is provided for local calls. A private courtyard area is set up with picnic table and bbq, to enjoy summer evenings and sunny winter days. Cathedral Square is an easy 1km walk, and the Christchurch Convention Centre and Town Hall are only a few blocks away. Chester St Cottage is also convenient to a squash club, Centennial indoor swimming pool, river walks, parks, organic and health shops and a variety of restaurants and bars. This is an ideal base for travellers and relocating families to explore Christchurch.
