Underfloor heating in all the communal areas, a wood burning stove, radiators in the bedrooms and double glazing make this a toasty warm house. Upstairs the cathedral ceiling open plan living, kitchen and dining offers a great space for entertaining with magic mountain views and a sun deck for BBQ\'s. For inside realxation the house is stocked with books, games, videos and DVDs and for outside there is tennis rackets, cricket set, an assortment of balls and a kite.
A little over 60 minutes from Christchurch, the Castle Hill Basin and Craigieburns offers fantastic summer and winter recreation, walking, biking, climbing, caving and skiing. Close to 6 ski fields. there is a tennis court, rough 9 hole golf course, mountain bike tracks and great children\'s play area in the village.

Right in the heart of the area where The Lord of the Rings and The Lion Witch and the Wardrobe was filmed.
Castle Hill rocks (within walking distance of the village) in 2006 was voted one of the worlds top 10 bouldering sites for enthusiastic climbers. Also 5 minutes down the road is Cave Stream a 45minute accessible caving adventure.
From the village are some great mountain bike tracks and fantastic tramping and walking tracks that take you up high.
Within the village is a tennis court, pentanque area, rough 9 hole golf course and great children\'s play facilities. |
